Story Stack

My friends and I launched a literary podcast in the fall of 2025. We discuss stories from various media and how they relate to larger conversations about modern storytelling.

My Roles

BRAND DESIGN

In addition to being a host and active participant in our conversations, I also designed the Story Stack brand. The ideation began with the idea that the podcast would focus on more than just books, prompting the use of "Story" in the title.

From there, I wanted to highlight the lighthearted and modern, yet insightful nature of our conversations. The tagline, as well as the influence for the rest of the branding, became: "It's like Book Club, but it's more than books and not quite a club."

I used Canva for the initial design of the logo and font, and modified the designs using Affinity. I sourced the fonts from Google Fonts and the color palette using Coolors.

MEDIA STRATEGY

As the only host with media experience, I also manage our media presence. I design our video animations, develop our media campaigns, and create our social media content.

I primarily use Canva, TikTok, Google Calendar, and Buffer as tools for creation and scheduling. I research trends within the podcast industry as well as general viral trends to inform our campaign strategies.
