As a freelancer, I research and write articles about Savannah, GA. My topics involve local business, food, and music, as well as monthly summaries on the SCCPSS Board of Education meetings. My work here is behind a paywall, but I've gotten permission to share some pieces.

CREATIVE WRITING | AUG 2023

In collaboration with Could Be Pretty Cool and the You Heard Me Write podcast, I participated in a Human vs. AI writing challenge. Human writers and AI bots were given the same one-word prompt and tasked with writing a poem.

High Seas

CREATIVE WRITING | SEP 2025

In a Serial Narrative course, I was tasked with writing my own serial fiction piece. High Seas follows Thomas Wright, a young scientist in 1845 London, as he sails to find buried treasure in Barbados. When a storm blows the ship off-course, he and his crew travel through the Sargasso Sea, facing plenty of complications on the way. Will he make it back to London before investors take his home, or will the secret on-board assassin gut him before he can?

Evans Blue: A Rock Band's Icarian Fall

In a Story Research course, I was given ten weeks to research a topic of my choosing and present my findings as any form of writing. I explored the rise and fall of early 2000s rock band Evans Blue and delivered a 5-page essay.
